Lisandro Lopez helped Lyon claim a 3-0 goal performance at the Stade de l'Abbe- Deschamps on Sunday.

The Argentine striker put an end to Lyon's two-game losing skid with goals in the 20th and 68th minutes, bringing his side level with Toulouse in the Ligue 1 table with 26 points apiece. Michel Bastos added a third goal in the 88th minute.

Lopez now has four goals in the French top flight this season, third best in the Lyon squad behind Bafetimbi Gomis with seven and Bastos with five.

Auxerre has dropped five of its last six Ligue 1 matches, falling to 15th where it is tied with Brest on 15 points apiece.

It won't get any easier for Auxerre, as its next tilt in the French league comes against second-place PSG on Dec. 12. Lyon returns to action the same day, hosting Toulouse in a massive fixture.

Lorient 1, Nice 0

Lorient, France - Lorient continued its steady play in Ligue 1 with a 1-0 win over bottom-feeders Nice on Sunday.

Arnold Mvuemba's penalty in the 63rd minute proved to be the difference for Lorient, which has won two of it last three and has not yet lost successive matches this season.

With 23 points, Lorient sits tied with St Etienne for seventh place in Ligue 1. It returns to action with a major test on Dec. 3, traveling to the Stade de la Mosson to face leaders Montpellier.

Nice, meanwhile, sits second from bottom after three consecutive losses. It will face Rennes in its next outing on Dec. 3.

Marseille 3, PSG 0

Marseille, France - PSG has hit a bit of speed bump in its quest for a Ligue 1 title, as it fell to Marseille, 3-0, at the Stade Velodrome on Sunday.

After stringing together a 13-game unbeaten streak in league play, PSG has dropped two straight to fall out of first place in the table. It sits second on 30 points, trailing leaders Montpellier by three points.

Loic Remy gave the home side a dream start by scoring the opening goal in the ninth minute.

Morgan Amalfitano then doubled the lead in the 65th minute, notching his first goal of the season, before Andre Ayew added insult to injury for PSG with his strike in the 83rd minute.

Marseille has won four of its last five in Ligue 1 as it continues to march up the table. With 21 points, it occupies ninth place.
