Blues place D Colaiacovo on IR

The St. Louis Blues have placed defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo on injured reserve.
Colaiacovo suffered a hamstring injury in a 4-1 win over Florida on November 17.
On the season, he has one goal and five assists in 13 games.
To take his spot on the roster, the team recalled defenseman Cade Fairchild from Peoria of the American Hockey League.
