The 24-year-old Price stopped 20-of-21 shots in a 5-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on October 26, his 100th career regular-season victory. He made 29 saves in a 2-1 victory over the Boston Bruins October 27 and turned aside 26 shots in a 4-2 win over the Bruins two nights later.

Khabibulin took home the Second Star by helping the Oilers (7-2-2) climb to first place in the Western Conference. He went 3-0-0 with a 1.67 goals-against average and .951 save percentage.

Jagr earned the Third Star by recording a league-leading five goals. Jagr recorded points in each game for the Flyers (6-4-1), who won twice in his four starts.
