Tennessee freshman quarterback Justin Worley will start this coming Saturday against South Carolina, Vols head coach Derek Dooley announced Monday.

Worley made his debut this past Saturday, spelling starter Matt Simms in the fourth quarter of a 37-6 loss at Alabama. He did not attempt a pass.

Simms also started an October 15 loss to LSU after sophomore Tyler Bray broke his right thumb the previous week against Georgia.

Worley hails from Rock Hill, South Carolina. He threw for 13,385 yards and 157 touchdowns in his Northwestern High School career.
