(Reuters) - Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty is expected to miss seven to 10 days of action after getting injured early in their 3-2 overtime win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, according to local media.

Doughty collided with Zac Rinaldo 24 seconds into the game and left after playing one more shift later in the period.

Doughty signed an eight-year $56 million contract just prior to the Kings' season-opening trip to Europe.
