The Montreal Canadiens provided updates on injuries to forward Michael Cammalleri and defenseman Jaroslav Spacek, both of whom were hurt during Sunday's game in Winnipeg.

Cammalleri is expected to miss no more than two weeks with a deep cut on his right leg and is to be re-evaluated by team doctors Saturday.

Spacek, meanwhile, will likely be sidelined 2-to-3 weeks with an upper-body injury.

On a positive note, the Canadiens expect to have forward Lars Eller in the lineup for their home opener Thursday against Calgary. Eller is returning from offseason shoulder surgery.
