Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Mattias Ohlund will undergo arthroscopic surgery on both knees Tuesday.

Ohlund was placed on injured reserve by Tampa Bay on October 4 with inflammation of the right knee. Tampa Bay has said he will be out indefinitely, but according to reports he could be out as long as six weeks.

Selected by 13th overall by Vancouver in the 1994 draft, the 35-year-old has 93 goals and 343 points along with 885 penalty minutes in 909 games with Vancouver and Tampa Bay.
