Carolina Panthers tight end Jeremy Shockey played in Sunday's home game against the New Orleans Saints.

The Pro Bowl tight end sat out Wednesday's practice with a mild concussion and took part in limited reps on Thursday while he was a full participant in Friday's practice.

He was listed as probable on Friday's injury report.

Shockey was signed by the Panthers in the offseason after spending the previous three seasons with New Orleans, winning a Super Bowl with the Saints in a victory over the Colts in 2010.

Coming into the game he has 11 catches for 178 yards on the season, his 10th in the NFL.

Also, cornerback Chris Gamble (head) and offensive tackle Jeff Otah (back) were in the game as they were also probable on the injury report.
