Winnipeg, MB – Montreal forward Michael Cammalleri left in the first period of Sunday's game against the Winnipeg Jets.
With around four minutes left in the frame, Winnipeg center Mark Scheifele appeared to get his skate caught up in the right leg of Cammalleri.
Cammalleri hobbled to his bench, but after play stopped he was helped to the ice and into the locker room by a player and trainer.
He had scored the first goal of the game for the Canadiens just 3:05 in.
