Santa Clara, CA – The San Francisco 49ers have placed defensive tackle Will Tukuafu on injured reserve due to a wrist problem.
The team also promoted safety Colin Jones from the practice squad to the active roster and signed wide receiver John Matthews to the practice squad.
Tukuafu had played in all four games this season, registering a pair of tackles and a fumble recovery.
