Blackburn and Fulham entered Sunday's match 1 draw at Craven Cottage.

Ruben Rochina tallied his first league goal for Blackburn in the 32nd minute, but Fulham responded through Bobby Zamora six minutes later to claim its second draw of the campaign.

The opener arrived after a pass from Junior Hoilett on the right wing that Rochina finished off in style with a 20-yard strike that struck the underside of the crossbar and went into the net.

However, the home side answered back before halftime when Zamora brought down Danny Murphy's pass on the right, cut back past a defender to get into the penalty area, and curled a shot inside the far post.

There weren't many decent scoring chances for either side after the break, but Blackburn goalkeeper Paul Robinson was forced to make a nice diving stop on Murphy in the 73rd minute to preserve his team's first point of the season.

West Bromwich 1, Norwich City 0

Norwich, England - West Bromwich got off the mark on Sunday at Carrow Road with a 1-0 win over Norwich City on a third-minute goal from Peter Odemwingie.

The Baggies lost their first three games to open the new season, but Odemwingie got them off to a great start when he found the bottom-right corner of the net with a shot from the middle of the penalty area.

An opportunity to put the game away arose with 15 minutes to play when West Brom's Steven Reid was fouled inside the area by Steve Morison of Norwich.

Odemwingie stepped to the spot but had his effort saved by goalkeeper Decland Rudd, although the miss did not prove costly as the visitors held out for the win.
