Chicago Bears running back Marion Barber has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Signed by the Bears in the offseason, he suffered a calf injury in a preseason game at Tennessee on August 27 and hasn't practiced since.

Selected by Dallas in the fourth round of the 2005 draft, Barber carried the ball 1,042 times for 4,358 yards and 47 touchdowns over 88 career games with the Cowboys over the previous six seasons.
