Tight end Dante Rosario, who had spent the first four years of his NFL career playing for Carolina, was signed by the Miami Dolphins on Monday.

Rosario played in 62 games since being a fifth-round draft pick of the Panthers in 2007. He had 32 receptions for 264 yards last season. Over his four-year career, he compiled 82 grabs for 894 yards with five scores.

The Dolphins also signed offensive lineman Ryan Cook, released linebacker A.J. Edds, and terminated the contract of center Joe Berger on Monday.
