The Houston Texans trimmed their roster to the man limit by waiving 26 players, including linebacker Xavier Adibi, safety Shiloh Keo and wide receiver Dorin Dickerson.

Adibi, in his fourth season out of Virginia Tech, has appeared in 34 games with the Texans, registering 68 tackles. A fourth-round selection in the 2008 NFL draft, Adibi tallied 22 tackles and a forced fumble in 11 games last season.

Keo was selected by the Texans in the fifth round -- 144th overall - of the 2011 draft. The Idaho product recorded just two tackles during the preseason.

Dickerson was a seventh-round pick out of Pittsburgh in 2010. He appeared in seven games during his rookie campaign but did not record a reception. This preseason, he caught two passes for 28 yards.

Additionally, the Texans cut Scott Albritton, Mister Alexander, Howard Barbieri, Scooter Berry, Quintin Demps, Steven Friday, Andrew Gardner, John Graves, Pete Hendrickson, Anthony Hill, Trindon Holliday, Stanford Keglar, Damione Lewis, Jeff Maehl, Brad Maynard, Guy Miller, Chris Ogbonnaya, Zac Pauga, Cole Pemberton, Derrick Townsel, Cody Wallace, Javarris Williams and Torri Williams and placed Cheta Ozougwu and Terrence Toliver on the reserve/injured list.
