Denver, CO – The Colorado Rockies acquired third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff from the Oakland Athletics for a player to be named later or cash considerations.
Kouzmanoff, 30, batted .221 with four home runs and 17 RBI in 46 games with Oakland this season.
A six-year veteran, he has played in 645 games with Cleveland, San Diego, and Oakland and has batted .255 with 82 homers and 345 RBI.
