Nick Hundley had four hits, including a two- 1 rout of the Florida Marlins on Saturday.

Orlando Hudson added two hits, including a three-run homer, and Kyle Blanks added a solo blast for the Padres, who have won four of their last five.

Hudson and Blanks went back-to-back in the first inning against Marlins starter Clay Hensley (1-5), who was torched for seven runs in just 3 2/3 frames to remain winless in his last six outings.

Meanwhile, Aaron Harang (12-3) remained unbeaten in four starts after giving up one run on three hits in six innings.

The Marlins fell to 2-14 in their last 16 games and allowed 14 runs to the Padres for the second time this season. They dropped a 14-3 game at home on July 20.

Their only run came on Jose Lopez's fourth homer of the season. The sixth- inning blast was one of just four Florida hits, as Anthony Bass and Josh Spence had little trouble coming out of the bullpen to back Harang.

Between the two last-place teams, the Padres have looked a lot less like bottom-dwellers.

They scored at least three runs in four different innings, beginning with Hudson and Blanks' homers for a 4-0 lead in the first. Logan Forsythe and Cameron Maybin had RBI doubles and Jason Bartlett added a run-scoring single to make it 7-0 in the fourth, chasing Hensley in the process.

In the fifth, Forsythe singled home a run and Will Venable knocked in two with a triple.

Hundley's fifth homer of the season capped a four-run sixth. But he never got another at-bat to try for the first cycle in Padres history.
