LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The Anaheim Ducks have acquired center Andrew Cogliano from the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for a 2013 second-round draft pick, the National Hockey League (NHL) teams said on Tuesday.

Cogliano, 24, appeared in all 82 games for the Oilers last season, scoring 11 goals and collecting 24 assists.

Drafted 25th overall by Edmonton in 2005, Cogliano recorded 57 goals and 146 points in four seasons with the Oilers.

The trade gives Edmonton eight selections in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
