WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Reuters) - The Winnipeg Jets announced a flurry of signings on Monday, including forwards Tanner Glass and Rick Rypien from last season's Western Conference champion Vancouver Canucks.

Glass scored three goals and seven assists in 73 games for the Canucks last season and was part of the team's Stanley Cup run that ended in a loss to the Boston Bruins in the decisive game of the finals.

Rypien appeared in just nine games for the Canucks last season.

The NHL's newest team, sold and relocated from Atlanta to Winnipeg last month, also signed Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Randy Jones and Dallas Stars forward Aaron Gagnon.
