Fourth-seeded Andy Murray beat Tobias Kamke of Germany 6-3, 6-3, 7-5 Wednesday to ease into the third round of Wimbledon.

The 24-year-old British player never lost serve, saving the only break point he faced, and broke the German four times.

Kamke had more winners (24 to 23) and fewer unforced errors (18 to 19) than Murray, but was never in serious contention in the Court 1 match.

Murray reached the semifinals the past two years, and is again bidding again to become the first British man to win the title since Fred Perry in 1936.
