Miguel Lopez scored in the 69th minute on a header off David Beckham's pass in the Major League Soccer-leading Los Angeles Galaxy's 1-0 victory over the New England Revolution on Saturday night.

Los Angeles (8-2-5) extended its winning streak to four games and its shutout string to 321 minutes with its second victory in its last 10 matches (2-6-2) at Gillette Stadium.

New England (3-5-4) was shut out for the fifth time this season.

A season-high crowd of 21,793 attended the game.

Beckham's pass from 40 yards out on the right flank set up Lopez for his first goal of the season. Lopez flicked a header from just inside the penalty box to the far left corner past goalkeeper Matt Reis.

Beckham has seven assists this season.

Los Angeles didn't allow a shot on goal in Donovan Ricketts' sixth shutout of the season.
