Torii Hunter homered for the second straight day and the Los Angeles Angels roughed up Arizona Diamondbacks opening day starter Ian Kennedy in a 10-8 victory Wednesday.

Bobby Wilson had a three-run double for the Angels, who collected 17 hits, eight against Kennedy.

Hunter homered leading off the second inning, and Kennedy was pulled after walking opposing starter Jered Weaver to load the bases with two outs in the fourth. Kennedy allowed three runs and walked one.

Justin Upton and Juan Miranda each a hit two-run home run for Arizona, which lost its eighth straight.

Weaver gave up three runs on three hits. He struck out six without walking a batter in 4 1-3 innings.
