Chicago defenseman Duncan Keith did not take part in Monday's practice, but is expected to play Tuesday against the Florida Panthers, according to a report in the Chicago Sun-Times.

Keith suffered a hand/finger injury in Saturday's win against Toronto after he was hit by a shot early in the third period. He did not return to the game, but remained on the bench for the remainder of the contest.

"We're hopeful it's not serious," coach Joel Quenneville said after the game, but no other update has been issued by the team.

Defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson also missed Monday's practice, but is expected to play Tuesday.

Chicago will be looking for its ninth straight win when they face the Panthers.
