Matt Dickey, J.P. Primm and Jason Lane each scored 18 points and North Carolina-Asheville defeated High Point 76-62 on Thursday night.

The Bulldogs (15-13, 10-7 Big South Conference) used their balanced scoring attack to offset Nick Barbour's 32 points for High Point (11-17, 7-10). Barbour was the Panthers' only player in double figures as High Point lost for the fourth time in five games.

UNC-Asheville pulled away after leading only 31-29 at halftime, a lead that was erased by Shay Shine's 3-pointer 33 seconds into the second half. The Bulldogs trailed 46-42 with 13:03 left before claiming the lead for good on an 8-0 run. The final margin, 14 points, was their biggest.

The Bulldogs turned the game by getting to the free-throw line in the second half, where they made 18 of 19 shots in the final 20 minutes. They made 30 of 34 for the game, compared to High Point's 11 of 13.
