Cam Long scored 12 second-half points as George Mason beat Northeastern 67-61 to increase their winning streak to a nation-high 14 games on Thursday night.

Long hit two 3-pointers and scored eight straight points after the Huskies had taken a 44-42 lead with just over 10 minutes remaining.

George Mason (24-5, 15-2 Colonial Athletic Association) would not relinquish the lead, clinching the top seed in next week's conference tournament and finishing the season undefeated at home for the second time in three years.

Ryan Pearson led George Mason with 18 points and 15 rebounds and Long finished with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Jonathan Lee had 18 points and Chaisson Allen added 14 points and 12 rebounds for Northeastern (10-19, 5-12), which was the first opponent to hold a second-half lead in any of the Patriots' 14 home games.
