Stephen Lumpkins scored a season-high 27 points to lead American to a 69-60 victory over Colgate on Saturday.

Vlad Moldoveanu scored 17 points and Troy Brewer added 10 for the Eagles (17-8, 7-3 Patriot League), who ran their all-time home record against the Raiders (6-19, 3-7) to 12-0.

Sterling Melville scored 10 points as the only Colgate player in double figures.

The Raiders went 12-of-12 from the foul line and 8-of-14 from 3-point range but sank to a second-straight loss for the first time since a Jan. 15 66-57 home loss to American capped a four-game skid.

American used a 26-11 run that spanned across halftime to turn a five-point deficit into a 50-40 lead with less than 11 minutes left to play.

Lumpkins scored six points in that stretch before Moldoveanu and Charles Hinkle hit back-to-back 3-pointers to finish the run.
