Yannick Crowder scored 15 points to lead Florida A&M to a 63-59 win over Morgan State on Saturday night.

The Rattlers (8-14, 3-6 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) led 29-26 at halftime and overcame 16 turnovers to beat the Bears (10-10, 6-3) in their only matchup this season.

Chris Watson added 11 points and Brandon Hosley 10 for Florida A&M, which forced 12 steals. Larry Jackson grabbed 11 rebounds.

Ameer Ali led Morgan State with 15 points, Kevin Thompson added 13, Aric Brooks had 11 and Larry Bastfield 10. Thompson also pulled down 12 rebounds.

The Bears struggled from the floor, shooting 38.9 percent overall (21 of 54) and 33.3 percent in the second half (11 of 33).

The loss drops Morgan State into a two-way tie for third place in the MEAC standings. The Bears are 1 1/2 games behind Hampton (18-5, 8-2), which defeated South Carolina State 64-53 on Saturday.
