Thomas Coleman had 28 points, 11 rebounds and seven blocks to lead North Carolina A&T to an 84-74 overtime victory over South Carolina State on Saturday.

Coleman scored North Carolina A&T's first seven points of overtime, helping the Aggies take a 78-74 lead with 1:24 remaining. He also had three rebounds, a block, a steal and an assist in OT and scored the final point for the Aggies (9-10, 4-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), who have won two of three games.

Coleman entered averaging 14.9 points and 10.9 rebounds a game.

South Carolina State (5-13, 1-4) didn't score after tying the score at 74 on Brandon Riley's free throw with 2:32 left in OT.

Nic Simpson had 18 points and Adrian Powell added 16 for the Aggies.

Brandon Riley led the Bulldogs with 27 points. Tyvon Williams had 16 points and 10 assists, Darnell Porter scored 10 and Omar Sanders had 14 rebounds.
