Amir Celestin scored 13 points to lead Campbell through a rough offensive start in a 65-52 win over Kennesaw State on Friday night.

The Fighting Camels (8-6, 2-3 Atlantic Sun Conference) missed 22 of their first 25 shots, trailing 14-7 with 5:28 remaining in the opening half.

Campbell trailed 25-19 at the break, but started the second half on a 17-7 run to take a 36-32 lead with 11:40 left to play.

The Owls (3-12, 1-4) made only four field goals the rest of the way, trailing by as many as 13 points.

Preston Dodson scored 12 points and Marvelle Harris and Eric Griffin added 11 apiece for Campbell, which shot 55.7 percent from the field (21 of 38) after shooting 12 percent (3 for 25) over the first 14:32.

Aaron Anderson scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Kennesaw State, which has just one victory since its 80-63 upset over Georgia Tech on Nov. 15.
