PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - The Philadelphia Eagles have signed former Atlanta Falcons safety Antoine Harris, the National Football League club announced Thursday.
Harris, 28, spent the last three seasons with Atlanta, playing in 35 games and recording 10 tackles and 11 special teams tackles. His 2009 season ended early due to a knee injury.
Harris was originally signed as a rookie free agent out of Louisville by the Tennessee Titans following the 2005 draft and spent the next two seasons on the team's practice squad.
The Eagles also announced the signing of free agent wide receiver Jared Perry, 22, a college team mate of Eagles receivers Jeremy Maclin and Martin Rucker at the University of Missouri.
