SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Golden State Warriors rookie forward Ekpe Udoh is expected to be sidelined for six months after undergoing successful wrist surgery, the team said.
Udoh, the team's first-round selection and sixth player chosen in the NBA draft, had a torn ligament in his left wrist repaired during the surgery on Wednesday, the team said in a news release.
The wrist will be immobilized for approximately 10 weeks with Udoh needing six months recovery time before he can play.
