HOUSTON (AP) — The Houston Texans have signed seventh-round draft pick Dorin Dickerson.
The 6-foot-2 Dickerson was taken with the 227th overall selection. He played receiver, tight end and linebacker during his college career at Pittsburgh, and set a school record for tight ends with 10 touchdown receptions last season.
Dickerson finished with 49 catches for 529 yards in 2009.
Dickerson is the sixth of the Texans' nine draft picks to sign with the team, joining receiver Trindon Holliday, cornerback Sherrick McManis, defensive tackle Earl Mitchell, linebacker Darryl Sharpton and guard Shelley Smith.
