SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Toronto Blue Jays activated infielder John McDonald from the bereavement list after Wednesday's game at San Diego.
To make room on the roster, the Blue Jays optioned outfielder Jeremy Reed to Triple-A Las Vegas.
McDonald had been on the bereavement list since Thursday. The Blue Jays return home to open a series against San Francisco on Friday.
