LOS ANGELES (AP) — Chris Colon had two hits, including his 17th homer, and Cal State Fullerton continued its mastery of UCLA with a 4-3 victory Friday night in the an NCAA Baseball Super Regional at sold-out Jackie Robinson Stadium.

A win by the Titans (46-16) on Saturday would send them to the College World Series for the eighth time in the 12 years of Super Regional play since 1999 and give them an all-time record of 60-24-1 against UCLA (45-14), including a 7-2 mark in NCAA tournament play.

Noe Ramirez (12-1) struck out 13 in seven innings to outshine UCLA's Gerrit Cole (10-3), who gave up four runs and five hits in 6 2-3 innings to lose for the first time since April 30.

Colon, the leadoff hitter and a first-round pick in the June draft by Kansas City, hit what proved to be the game-winner with his fifth-inning homer that made it 4-1.
