Joy Behar, longtime co-host of "The View," has made a smooth move in the Hamptons. The outspoken comedian recently picked up a house in Sag Harbor, NY, for $4.75 million. The home is within walking distance to the Bay Street Theater, the nonprofit regional theater where Behar serves as a board member, according to 27East.

The 4,500-square-foot, traditional-style home features four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a remodeled kitchen, and five fireplaces. The house sits on three-quarters of an acre, and the total spread includes a separate guest cottage, pool, and pond. The house is close to shopping, Havens beaches, and Billy Joel, who has a place down the street.

When the pricey property hit the market, the listing played up the home's luxury features, including "two grand staircases." It said, "Rarely is a home of this grandeur and property available in Sag Harbor Village."

Grandeur aside, the busy Behar recently sold a lovely East Hampton, NY, property that was listed for $3.8 million.

Behar, a former high school English teacher, is among the original cast of "The View," ABC's daily gabfest that is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Except for a two-year hiatus, she's been with the show since its inception in 1997.

She began her career in standup comedy and has appeared in several feature films, including "Hall Pass" and "Manhattan Murder Mystery." She also hosted her own HLN cable talk show, "The Joy Behar Show," from 2009 to 2011 and currently holds down a gig as the host of "Late Night Joy" on TLC.
