Lesh has played bass for the Dead since the group's formation in 1965. Although he was diagnosed with bladder cancer last year, he's expected to make a full recovery -- and has been playing recent dates with jam-friendly buddies as Phil Lesh & Friends.
There's nothing psychedelic about his California retreat, but there's certainly a lot to be grateful for. Cream walls, neutral wood floors, and white box ceilings make for a peaceful escape. Throughout the sunny home, windows and doors enhance the feeling of indoor-outdoor living.
The 2.14-acre backyard is a work of art, from the meticulously landscaped driveway to the tiered yards and gardens, complete with a pergola.
The luxe master suite unfolds directly onto a private, rock-walled conversation nook, but the bath is even more impressive, with a glass shower, soaking tub, and plenty of counter space. The spacious home has plenty of room for a large family -- and maybe a few lucky fans.
