James Mangold, director of "Walk the Line" and "The Wolverine," is selling his cozy French-style farmhouse in Los Angeles for $3.75 million.
The 2,260-square-foot home was designed in 1964 by Gerard Colcord, known as " Hollywood's Society Architect." Sitting on almost an acre of land, the farmhouse is located off a private road under the shade of large, sprawling sycamore trees.
The three-bedroom home has been recently updated, although care was taken to maintain Colcord's original design. The living room has hand-hewn wood beams and a large fireplace.
Mangold bought the home in 2006 for $2,275,000. The sale comes after his wife of 15 years (and producer of several of his films), Catherine Konrad, filed for divorce in September 2014. Mangold is slated to direct another "Wolverine" movie, which is said to be Hugh Jackman's last hurrah as the claw-baring comic book character.
