Ten-time MLB All-Star Tom Glavine is selling his gorgeous getaway in Rosemary Beach, FL, for $11.75 million.

The Hall of Famer's 5,563-square-foot home sits above 85 feet of sandy beach. This is the ideal vacation home. The property includes a five-bedroom main house, a one-bedroom carriage house, a two-car garage, a pool, a fountain, and a stone-paved courtyard. And then there's the view of the beautiful blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico from the second story.

The stunning property was a 2001 collaboration between interior designer Phillip Sides and architect Lew Oliver to create a show house for Southern Accents magazine.

Away from the baseball diamond, the 49-year-old lefty is no stranger to making strategic moves in real estate. He built and sold a $1.7 million mansion in Alpharetta, GA, last year, although he had to settle for a reduced sale price. However, this Rosemary Beach home might be a profitable home run -- records indicate Glavine bought the estate in 2011 for $7.33 million.
