Mark Mulder, former ace pitcher for the Oakland Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals, is no stranger to success. The two-time MLB All-Star recently displayed his prowess on the links when he won the American Century Championship, a celebrity golf tournament. Now he's ready to try his hot hand at real estate.

Mulder is selling his four-bedroom home in Pine Canyon, a gated golf community in Flagstaff, AZ. Listed for $1,435,000, the home has a lodge design. The open-concept living room has cathedral ceilings, two-story windows, and a massive rock fireplace.

The kitchen also has a rustic feel with hardwood floors, a travertine backsplash, and gorgeous knotty alder cabinets.

The home is also right on the golf course. Designed by golf architect Jay Morrish, the course offers privacy, according to listing agent Jaime Shurts. The community is "home to dozens of celebrities and athletes," Shurts says.

As for Mulder, he won't be leaving Pine Canyon behind. "Mark has been our club champion many times," Shurts says. "He is upgrading within the community."
