Democratic debate focus changes in wake of Paris

CBS moved swiftly to shift the focus of Saturday's Democratic debate in the wake of Friday's terrorist attacks in Paris.

"American leadership is put to the test," CBS Executive Editor Mark Capus told the New York Times. "The entire world is looking to the White House. These people are vying to take over this office. … This is exactly what the president is going to have to face."

"There is no question that the emphasis changes dramatically," he said.

The debate will be moderated by John Dickerson of "Face the Nation," and begins at 9 p.m. eastern standard time Saturday.
