It was a scene that the late film critic Roger Ebert called "heart-warming" and marked a big break into film for one Republican presidential candidate. While Donald Trump appeared in the 1989 box office flop "Ghosts Can't Do It," it was his 1992 cameo in the holiday classic "Home Alone 2" that really opened the door for his future in Hollywood.

In the scene, a lost Kevin McCallister encounters the billionaire businessman as he attempts to navigate New York's Plaza Hotel, a property Trump had purchased in 1988. The brief exchange gave way to another 12 television and film credits for the Republican front-runner, including a 1995 Pizza Hut commercial.
