Several blocks shut down in DC over person in 'mental crisis'

Police in Washington, D.C., had shut down several blocks early Monday morning due to a "person in mental health crisis."

DC police shut down several blocks from K through M Streets, and asked commuters to avoid those blocks.

Police later tweeted that there was no shooting involved, as some had claimed on Twitter, and that the subject was contained.

The incident was creating some travel headaches for commuters in cars and buses.
