Despite slipping to second place in Iowa, a new poll shows Donald Trump maintaining a commanding lead over his Republican rivals as he heads into the third GOP debate Wednesday night.

The latest survey of 906 registered Republican voters by One America News Network has the billionaire, who leads the Washington Examiner's presidential power rankings, at 35.6 percent support, putting him 14 points ahead of retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson and nearly 25 points ahead of Florida Sen. Marco Rubio. Carson and Rubio are in second and third place behind Trump with 21.7 percent and 10.8 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush comes in fourth with 7.6 percent support and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz rounds out the top five with 5.9 percent.

Former business executive Carly Fiorina, an outsider candidate like Trump and Carson who soared to second place after her sharp performance in the last debate, is just shy of tying Cruz for fifth place with 5.7 percent.
