Hamas called for a "Day of Rage" Friday amid escalating tensions between Israel and Palestine. The call for violence resulted in clashes in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of at least four Palestinians, killed by Israeli forces.

Joseph is a holy figure in Christianity and Judaism, not to be confused with the biblical companion of the Virgin Mary, but rather an earlier figure. The tomb marks the location of his supposed original burial place.

The violence today occurred as the U.N. Security Council held an emergency meeting on the Israel-Palestine conflict, after days of an escalating war of words between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Palestinian Authority, radical group Hamas, and even the U.S. State Department.
