Sen. Mary Landrieu does not have a house of her own in Louisiana, the state she represents in the Senate, but instead claims to live at her parents' address in New Orleans, according to a report by the Washington Post.

Landrieu also owns a home in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C., but she listed her family's home on Prieur Street in New Orleans to qualify for the ballot in Louisiana.

“I have lived at my home on Prieur Street most of my life and I live there now, when not fulfilling my duties in Washington or serving constituents across the state,” Landrieu said in a statement, according to the Post.

Republicans have attacked Landrieu for being out-of-touch with Louisiana, and questions about her physical presence in the state will likely add heft to this argument.
