Twitter to Obama: We’re taxed too much

April 15 is the dreaded deadline every year when many procrastinators are frantically punching calculator keys to tally up how much they owe Uncle Sam. And this year, even the U.S. Postal Service wasn't lending a hand. Most post offices, citing costs, decided not to stay open until midnight, booting a long-held tradition that gave late filers a few extra hours.

And while taxpayers were writing checks, the RNC announced it’s suing the IRS for withholding records on the targeting of conservative groups. Last week, the Republican-led House oversight committee voted to charge former IRS official Lois Lerner with contempt of Congress.

Caught? WMUR’s James Pindell noticed something a little odd with New Hampshire gubernatorial candidate Walt Havenstein’s Twitter account. Seems his official page was filled with 2,000 followers even before he sent out a single tweet.

But wait, now you see it, now you don't. A few hours after Pindell posted his tweet,  poof, 2,019 followers turned into 70.
