Charles Krauthammer said on "Special Report with Bret Baier" Monday that Republicans were in danger of losing to Democrats when it came to resolving the fiscal crisis.

Krauthammer’s advice? Give the Obama White House what it originally demanded.

“What the Republicans ought to do is to give Obama what he originally asked for,” said the syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor. “A year of the CR (continuing resolution) and three weeks, six weeks extension on the debt ceiling.  That way all the leverage is retained.

"The deal cooked up in the Senate will unfortunately give it all away, debt ceiling and sequester,” Krauthammer said.
