U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi may have her mind on something other than election returns Tuesday, after a burglary attempt was reported at her California home.

The Napa County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to FoxNews.com that the break-in happened Monday at Pelosi's Napa home. The former House speaker was not home at the time.

Napa is about 50 miles north of San Francisco. According to the police report, Pelosi also owns a home in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood.

Police investigating around 2:50 p.m. found smashed glass at the front door and at a separate pool house, but no suspects have been identified. It is not yet known whether anything was taken, according to police.

Pelosi, 72, has been representing her San Francisco district since 1987 and had served as the Speaker of the House from 2007 to 2011. She was expected to win her re-election handily on the Democratic ticket Tuesday night.
