Continuing his impressive run of upward momentum in the 2012 GOP presidential race, businessman Herman Cain has won another straw Poll. Cain's latest win came this past weekend at the 36th Biennial Convention of the National Federation of Republican Women.

Cain captured 48.9% of the 505 total votes cast. Texas Gov. Rick Perry came in a distant second place with 14.1%, followed by former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney with 13.3% and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich with 12.5%. More convention attendees voted for Cain than Perry, Romney and Gingrich combined.

This NFRW is an organization of female conservative activists and organizers from all over the country and this win is another good sign for Cain, who also recently won the Republican Party of Florida straw poll.

The poll was conducted by PalladianView.com, which calls itself a "recently launched website dedicated to conservative women."
