When President Obama gave a speech at N.C. State University Wednesday to sell his plan to create jobs, he ventured into the edge of the district represented by freshman Republican Rep. Renee Ellmers, but she says she's still standing strong against some of the president's proposals.

On Thursday's Power Play w/Chris Stirewalt, Ellmers said she's adamant in her opposition to any tax increases, saying they are a non-starter in the House. She also discussed the growing battle over disaster relief funds for states like North Carolina that have been hit by recent natural disasters.
