Obama to Pick Commerce Secretary Locke for China Ambassador

President Obama will nominate Commerce Secretary Gary Locke as the U.S. ambassador to China, a senior administration official tells Fox News.

Jon Huntsman, the current ambassador who resigned effective April 30, is widely considered a potential candidate for the 2012 Republican presidential race.

An official announcement is expected Tuesday.
